Not really, as it may not be getting power. Check that the valve is getting 120 volts when it should. IF YES then it the valve Remove the valve and check the filter screen on it's input side. If dirty clean it. Do not remove it, it is there to keep crud out of the valve which would hold it open and cause a flood. If clean replace the valve. IF NO then it is probably the control board. Could also be a broken/loose wire.
