My freezer was completely thawed last night and the fridge did not seem to be cooling as well either. The power was good and lights were on. So I cleaned the coils and saw that the condenser fan is running and I hear a click every min or so. Any ideas or help .... I am guessing, based on what i have been reading that it may be the eveaporator ..... but I have never messed with a fridge so I thought i would ask for assistance first. Thank you in advance!!

Hi.

Check if the condenser fan is running (next to the compressor).
If it does - unplug the fridge and cool down the compressor.
Remove the relay/overload from the compressor and shake it.If it's rattling - replace it Part number: 67002783
Part number: 67002783

But before doing that use the multimeter and check all three prongs at the compressor for continuity between them and to the "ground". If all prongs has continuity and not to the ground then replace the relay/overload.
Clean the condenser coils.

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.
