Model #M1 ice maker will not complete its cycle. Ice is made and cubes are on top of ice maker ready to drop into the bin but the ice maker arm stays approximately 1/4" away from the side of the ice maker. As soon as the ice maker arm is manually pressed against the side of the ice maker the gears start to move and the cycle is complete. The cubes drop, the arm raises and comes back down, water is let in and more ice is made until the sequence stops again when the arm does not come to rest against the side of the ice maker.

How do it get the arm to return to the full down position?
