After Rinse cycle the pump never drains the tub. Every now and then the pump will kick on and drain the tub normally (1 out of 50 tries, if that). Since the pump does turn on and function properly and all other cycles seem to work fine is this likely a timer issue?

All I'm getting is a click then a hum from the timer when the pump should start.

Operate it with the front panel off and use a meter to check current to the pump when it is supposed to be running but is not. If there is current, then the pump is the issue.
