Dryer heats fine but has developed a squeak/screech (metal on metal??) when it tumbles. Sometimes the screech is timid other times very insistent, seems more frequent. What part do I need to replace?

Probably this stuff right here.

Part number: AP2142648
Part number: AP2142648

Release the top by inserting a screw driver or putty knife in the gap between the top and the front near the edges. Flip it up, take off the front, release the belt, take out the drum and you are all set to make the repair.

Good luck.
