I have a whirlpool gold side by side and have a water valve that burns out after not shutting down. this happens every 3 or 4 months after a few cycles of not shutting off (flooding my floor). also I get a jam, one cube will stick once or twice a weak. I use the ice maker daily and am at a loss as to why i need to repair the water valve two or three times a year. this is the third valve in less than two years after about a dozen water leaks.

PLEASE HELP

Hi.

I recommend you to replace the icemaker and check the water pressure going to the water valve.

Simon.
