Hello I have a Roper RAS8333PQ0 - and although the washer was still working, it made an AWFUL metal grinding noise when coming to a stop after spin cycle. After checking the blocks on the bottom my husband read online and found the problem to be the bearing. We ordered the bearing and took the washer apart. We have found this these random parts in the bottom after disassembling the washer and were wondering if these could be part of our problem even though they look like nothing I'm sure they have a purpose? It is a small plastic cylindrical container with a clip on the end and inside we found a gold colored pin type thing, the head is flat, rounded and then the bottom is rounded with one flat side. There is a hole in the bottom. It looks as if it's been very worn? There are two of these "sets". Were they previously holding something together which is now broken? Any help would be much appreciated!
