Hello guys! Just signed up for the forum, got a question. Should the inner tub turn with the agitator? I ask this because there is a small amount of water that comes out of the flood pipe when the machine is set to "Super" load size. The water, and some soap suds, only come out of the pipe during the agitation cycle. There were several comments from different folks on different web sites saying the cause of this is from the inner tub splashing water into the flood pipe. I just talked to GE about this problem, they say it's normal. Just hard for me to believe that.
Thanks Joel

Hi. If the basket spins during the agitation most likely the mode shifter is bad and that causing leak through the flood pipe. The shifter Part number: WH38X10017

Thanks. That is exactly the same info I was reading about. Can't understand why the GE folks keep telling me that the inner tub is designed to move with the agitator! Is there any way to check this part other than remove and replace?
Thanks Joel
