Model number is TAWS800JQ1 (or TAWS300JQ1) type 111.

My washer fills and agitates with strong action, but stops and won't drain at end of cycle. It just shuts down and does nothing. I checked the coupler it is good. The pump and the lid switch are good. But the problem remains.

When the timer is in the drain cycle it either hums/buzzes or is silent.

No matter what type wash I select on the dial, the problem is the same. It fills and agitates but after that cycle ends it just shuts down. The pull knob remains out but the action just stops and doesn't drain.

My Estate model has only the timer and a water temperature switch. That seems to work fine. It seems like it must be the timer but it's such an expensive part I want to check all possibilities, especially since others here have replaced their timers only to discover it wasn't the problem.

This really sounds like a lid switch problem, and about the only way to really check it is to by pass it.

If it is okay then the timer could be the issue. It is an expensive part but if you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
