Freezer is cycling too often and causing frost/snow build up on food items.
Two prior repair attempts were made...evaporator insulation was actually trimmed by the tech to eliminate ice build up in freezer and the control unit was replaced, part 7954781jk2001a. Appreciate any help in trying to resolve this issue. Note most of long term frozen food is kept in a separate freezer. Also no vents are being blocked.

I have very little info on this unit with luck someone else will jump in with more info.

I would take a bowl and fill it with ice cubes then put it in the freezer and leave it for a day or two.

If they freeze together then you know that either you have a temperature regulation problem or defrost is putting too much heat into the freezer.

If they do not freeze together then I would check the door seals.
Check that they are clean and properly aligned.
Take a 2 inch wide strip of paper and place it between the seal and the frame then pull it out to see how good the seal is. Work your way around both doors.
Check the hinge side to be sure that the seal is no grabbing and twisting when closing the door. If they are a light coating of vaseline or white lithium grease should solve this.
The Sears parts side did show a couple plastic parts at the hinges that they listed as stoppers so I would check that they are OK.
