I've only used the cleaning cycle half a dozen times in the 15 years I've owned the oven and this time it wouldn't come back on. I checked the breaker and even turned it off and reset it but that didn't help. I don't believe this model has a thermal fuse. One strange thiing it does ......nothing lights up or beeps unless I latch the handle for cleaning and then it will make beeping noises but not light up. I've been told they no longer make the micro control panel (I think this is what it's called). So....I really need help cause I can't afford to buy a new oven. Thanks!

Here are your parts Replacement parts for Whirlpool KEBS277BBL3 27" BUILT-IN DOUBLE OVEN | AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet It does have a thermodisk so I would start there. I think it is Item 141 in Section 2 but am not 100% sure on this. Remove power from the unit and check the one for the upper oven as it kills power to the control board. Should be 0 ohms. Be sure to also disconnect one wire from it when measuring, this ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path. I am not sure why latching the door gets you some beeping. Looks to me like the electronic control (Item 20 in Section 1) is still available at least it comes up as In Stock. With luck you will not need one. |

Thank you so much for replying...I was all ready to order a rebuilt range control but maybe the thermo disk is the culprit. I'll have my husband follow your instructions. Thanks again! To find these sections and parts that you refer to could you be more explicit (I'm very new at this). How do you access this thermodisc?
