In the last year, I have noticed burnt marks on my clothes when they come out of the dryer. What causes that? The dryer is in the garage and we live in Florida. It is at least 6 inches away from the outside wall. The dryer is 8 years old. Do I need to replace the dryer or just fix it?

I suggest you open up the dryer and see if it is highly clogged with lint or if there is a problem with the way the drum is sealed off.

If you need more info, please post a full model number.

Thanks
