Hi, The defrost heater in this refrigerator shows open so i have ordered a new one. It is a top freezer model and the freeze coil is under the plastic shelf in the freezer...easily accessible. The heater is underneath the piped in freeze unit however and even after removing two screws, it does not seem that it can be lifted far enough to get the heater out or a new one in. What am i missing?
Thank you.
Ted
PS wherver the model number is, it is not in the suggested places!

PS wherver the model number is, it is not in the suggested places! In case anyone is wondering why i simply don't replace the old girl it is because it is on a boat and it will not come out without cutting it up and the replacement would not be nearly as large. Ted
