The control panel on my 4-yr. old Frigidaire gas range model FGS365ES serial # NF84109502 is kaput. I'm in a rural location and had trouble even finding a repair service to assess the problem. I've received a quote of $369 parts & labor + $59 service call to replace the control panel. The range only cost about $800 (sale price) new. Is this a reasonable quote? Any advice is appreciated.

Why not just fix it yourself?

I'm a psychologist with no technical skills--if I've strayed onto a site that is for professional appliance repair folks only, my apologies...
