I have run the cleaning process on my ice maker before with no problems, I just did it again because the light was blinking it was time to clean. I ran the cleaner thru but looking back, I don't think the red light was blinking like it was cleaning, I believe it stayed solid red, therefore, I believe may be the culprit of my problem, not sure if something got fried or what, but when I turn the ice maker on (blue light) the ice maker resevoirs will fill up with water, you here motors running, etc. and it appears to run the cycle as if it is going to make ice, but it does not produce ice. It does appear to make a slurping noise from the resevoir as if it's looking for more water possibly? The interior does get cold if that helps and the grid is slightly warm to cut the ice. It appears to me that after the resevoirs fill up twice, then it doesn't fill up again, therefore causing the slurping noises. Also, I did run the cleaning process as recommended from Whirlpool again, but it did not help. Any suggestions?
