Hi. Our ice maker has stopped making ice. Yesterday I noticed that the water inlet was frozen so I defrosted it with a hair dryer so the pathway for the water appears to be clear now. However, the ice maker is still not working. Any other ideas as to what I can try? It's just to old type of ice make with the arm that goes up and down.
Thank you!!

Water dispenser on door is working and I have also replaced the filter but that did not solve the problem either.

Hi. The water inlet valve most likely is shot. There is also a chance that the icemaker is bad too, but first replace the water valve Part number: 241734302

Will do...thanks for the help. Def. think it is the vavle though b/c we have filled the tray with water and the ice cubes end up in the tray so it must still be cycling. :) Originally Posted by: Simon / APP Team Hi. I received the valve yesterday and replaced it this morning. Ice is being made. :) I was a little concerned b/c the old valve connections screwed on and these were the self-locking type but the lines connected well (once I cut off the tips) and there are no leaks. Thanks so much! Originally Posted by: Simon / APP Team Good luck and keep us posted.
