Drying working fine this am. Opened door to add a new load and when I slammed it shut it would not turn on. Dryer door switch appeared to be hanging loose when I looked in (black "tongue "missing) - PART Ap3132865. I tried to reattach the switch and it seemed OK but still nothing when I press the start switch. Any ideas?

Try by-passing that switch, stick them 2 wires together long enough to see if that baby will go.
