I have a Whirlpool GD5SHAXKT00. The ice maker is making ice okay, but on occasion (not always) it is overfilling the mold and spilling water in the freezer out on to the kitchen floor. When I actually catch it doing this I am finding the previous batch of ice still sitting on top of the unit. Any suggestions for a fix?

Hi

Could be one of two things the ice maker could be at fault or the water inlet valve could be at fault.
Chances are the ice maker is at fault will need to be replaced.
