I have a GE side-by-side refrigerator. 1st time the fan was running, coils had frost on them, and both sides were warm. So I replaced the mother board. It then worked for a couple of weeks. Now the freezer runs constantly but is icing up again. And the fridge side is not working at all. I checked the refrigerator side door control and it does operate. In other words, it opens to the degree of coldness desired. It seems to me that there should be cold air blowing through this door into the refrigerator, but it doesn't appear to be working.

The damper door on these is either open all the way, or closed, no half way, just check for a door jam.
Check the coils in the freezer, if all frozen with heavy frost, defrost with a hair dryer. Check the defrost heater, if an open spot inside, replace it.
