Yes I get the award for jerk of the year, goes without saying. I had a 325 lb crated wood stove in back of Ford Ranger as I picked up new fridge at Sears outlet. was just enough room for fridge in back standing up straight.

I did not strap it (yes I am fool) I was only going a short distance, anyway a gust of wind sent it right over tailgate onto cement roadway (luckily nobody around.

Anyway fridge took a big impact, lighbulb did not break, nothing inside fridge broke. I found to gromets/gromlets on roadway.

I unpacked it at home and surveyed damage, some scrapes on front door only obvious signs.

I quickly found out the missing parts on roadway supported compressor, the other two rubber gromlets still on, I replaced the other 2 so everything appears OK to the UNTRAINED eye, all 4 rubber gromlets(whatever they are called) are under compressor properly with new washers and cotter pins.

Can not detect any leaks or even dents in copper lines, FREEZER works perfect but fridge does not get cold.

In fridge you can feel some ice if you put your fingers up under where the cold is supposed to come in, but that`s it.

I thought leaving unplugged 12 hours might help? So I did but makes no difference.

Up high on fridge the only entry appears to be on top of inside of fridge and inside freezer.

I removed 4 screws from top of inside fridge, removed to find entrance up towards freezer, I put my fingers in you can feel cold and frost, but it does not get forced out, perhaps a fan not working?

Also on rear of inside fridge there is a tube, but nothing that I can see,, can just stick my baby finger in tube.

Now the only other access to fridge that I can see is inside freezer(which works great) perhaps something I can see in there?

I payed 621 dollars for fridge including Canadian taxes, am willing to just call it a loss and move on, but not just yet.

I would hate to spend money on service call just to find out it cant be fixed.

I am not a fridge guy, but am able to see obvious things like broken wires etc

When I plug the fridge in, the copper coil from compressor ices up for less than a minute and then frost disappears, perhaps this is normal, and like I said freezer works perfect.

Couple plastic plug ins on compressor, much like fuses in a car, perhaps replacing that would be something to try?

Any suggestions are welcome, remember there is some frost just entering fridge at upper cone whatever you call it, but thermometer shows temp never gets under 60 degrees F

Sounds like the evaporator fan got knocked loose. Pull the back panel in the freezer and make sure that fan is running. Or just listen in the freezer section when the unit is running, if no fan noise that's your issue. IF the fan is working then you probably have more serious issues.
