The heating element brass nut (part 154106202) cracked and I've bought a replacement from ApplianceParstPros. In order to install the new nut, I need to disconnect the wires from the heating element. I'm using needle nose pliers to try to pull the white plastic slip connector off, but despite pulling as hard as I can, it won't come off. Any advice? Thanks!

I have never had a problem getting one off. Maybe you'll have to cut the wire install a new connector.

Thank you for the message ApplianceJunk.
I've got a few more questions:
a) How do I find the part number for the connector? I couldn't find it. b) How do I attach the connector to the old wire? c) Any suggestions on how to remove the old connector?
Thank you!
