Whilrpool Washer spinning erratically with noise at the end of spin cycle

I have a whirlpool washer that spins erratically with loud noise closer to the end of the spin cycle to the point that the washer jump out of the leveler at the bottom.
Needs advice on what may be the issue? or what part needs to be replaced.

Seems like jamed brake shoes. Pull the pump and motor and turn the tranny coupler clockwise till spin engages. If very hard to turn, that confirms it.

That is covered in my sticky above,"replacing direct drive washer brake shoes". You will also need the spanner wrench to loosten the spin basket.
