I replaced my thermal cutoff (part # 3977393) about 8 months ago for the first time. It stopped working again about three months ago, so it was replaced again. It just stopped working again two days ago, and I can not figure out what the problem could be.
Dryer vent was cleaned prior to second install, and the main heating element was replaced. All vent lines are clear. Please help.

Hi. Check the air flow inside the dryer. Remove and clean the chute and blower housing. Make sure the vent hose at the back is not kinked. You may want to replace the cycling thermostat Part number: 3387134
