My wife was washing a quilt and suddenly the load must've shifted and the washer started banging, making a very loud noise. Since then all the water controls and cycling seems to be fine but it doesn't aggitate or spin. We tried to reset (unplug for a minute & open & close the door 6 times) and that didn't work. Another tip was to take the aggitator off & check to see if the clutch spins freely but that's not the case either. I'm not a Mr. fix it type of guy, but I'm willing to try so we can save a few bucks. Please advise. Chuck

Hi. Using the putty knife open 2 clips on the top corners of the front panel and remove the panel. Check for any loose wires and connections at the motor. See if you can bypass the lid switch. Most likely it's the lid switch Part number: WH12X10141
