I replaced the lower heating element in my oven after some fireworks - the element popped in two, and burned a hole in the lower pan. After replacement, it's not heating. Could it be the oven control board or the temp sensor? There is no thermal fuse in this unit. Model #FEF366EMD. Any help is appreciated.

OK, so the unit is getting 240 volts therefore it is either a wiring problem or more likely the control board is shot. |

Depends on your definition of easy. If you click on a part's picture a new page will open often with more views and a Q&A section. This often has install info.
Looks like you remove the rear cover to get at it, Then it is either held in by a few screws or by clips. If clips be careful that you do not break them.
You may also need a new overlay (Item20A in Section 1) Looks like it is a peel and stick.
Just be sure to unplug or flip the breaker when working on it. If wires can go a couple different places be sure to swap one at a time or make a list/diagram where they go. |
