The washer won't go into the high speed spin in the Spin cycle. I took off the cover over the motor and drive belt at the back of the washer and I can see the motor runs the tub slow forward, then slow back, then slow forward, then slow back, but then never goes into the high-speed spin to wring out the clothes. The door locks, and the door locked light does come on. I can hear what I think is the pump running to drain the water.

The washer had been working normally up until now. I had just run a sleeping bag through the washer and it came out well wrung out. I noticed the not-spinning problem started after I ran a second sleeping bag and it was dripping wet when I took it out at the end of the wash cycle. Is it possible that the weight of the second sleeping bag has pushed a limit switch somewhere in the system that is prohibiting it from the high-speed spin?

After looking at a number of sites on the Internet, I became suspicious of the wax motor plunger, and that it was not traveling the full distance to trip the relay on the right. I played around with it and tried it a couple of times and the washer began to work. I need to order a new wax motor and install it.
