This is a kenmore Oasis washing machine/top loading.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
Code F50 appeared on the board.

Is there a code sheet that can guide you what this code F50 identifies?

I have only had this washing machine for about 16 months.

Thanks for helping in advance.

Performed all the test and have found and narrowed it down to the RPS (rotor posituion sensor) However, I need to get underneath the washer.

How can I empty the tub manually so I can lean it on it's side to gain access to the RPS? Hopefully, wires just came loose or disconnected. Or might have to replace the RPS.

Or, just leaning it to it's side and let the water just drain out away from the electrical control panel.

I was just wondering if there was a drain plug in the bottom of the tub or someother proper procedure in doing so.

Thanks.......

From what I understand the Oasis is a close match to a Whirlpool Cabio so here is a service manual for a Cabrio
https://secured.whirlpoo...540a8f/$FILE/8178582.pdf

On most units if you get the drain hose lower than the tub, it will drain.
Looks like this is not possible on this unit.
You may have to bail it out or try siphoning it out.

Found that my RPS burnt and found a burnt wire in the stator.

I have tried to search for this stator on the web but unabe to find it.

Found lots of parts to this machine, but does not list a stator.

Is this stator part still available to buy?

Kenmore Elite Oasis washer model # 110.27052601

Found it to be manufactued by whirlpool.

Thanks......

I would say odds are high that it is still available as Whirlpool still sells a similar product.

Give the people at AppliancePartsPros a call.
