Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/7/2007(UTC) Posts: 1		Anytime the cycle is pushing water thru and spinning there is an awful grinding humming noise. There is no noise when it is just filling or draining of water. The sound is definately coming from the bottom (not internal)

Could be a broken impeller, bad motor, or foreign objects (broken glass, etc) inside the pump. Options: 1. Replace the entire pump/motor assembly (Pros: Easy fix, nothing to figure out, replacing the whole assembly takes less time. Cons: more expensive than separate components) 2. Take the pump apart and see what's causing the problem. Replace the failed component (impeller, etc.) - Pump/motor breakdown diagrams Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
