Success! After installing the new valve (old one was really corroded on the contacts by the way) I now have "cold" (80 degree) water coming out with cold/cold - yea. and warm/warm, etc.

I took out the new switch to return it and installed the old board thinking maybe I could return the $100 board. Nope. Problem returned. Reinstalled the new board and all is well.

It was the Valve Assembly AND the Temp Control board! - $150 fix is still half of what I'd paid a repairman.

Thanks a million for all of your help, you guys are the best.

Great, sorry it was so expensive but this would have been a $400 service call.

Thanks for the update, it is very helpful to all those who view this Forum.
