I am replacing the dogs in the agitator assembly. When I removed the clothes mover form the agitator, all of the cam assembly parts (components 10 and 11 and the thrust spacer - component 22) went flying and now I am not clear how some should be oriented.
1. Does the thrust spacer go between the clothes mover and the agitator?
2. In what direction should the cutout tabs on the thrust spacer be? Up so that they touch the clothes mover or down so that they touch the agitator?
3. When re-installing the agitator assembly to the machine, does it need to be specially oriented to the agitator clip and the agitator washer (components 7 and 8) for propoer function?

Hi David,

Hopefully this video clip will help. Even it is about Kenmore washer - it's made by Whirlpool and the dogs are the same.

Gene.
