When I press the desire time and press the go button, the dryer beeps three times and the lights flash. No error codes just flashes the drying time. the dryer does not run at all.

I have cleaned everything out, unplugged it let it set and plugged it back in, it is appeares to be getting power.

Any ideas?

I have a similar problem but on this model number 110.70052990. Don't know what's going on yet, still in the trouble shooting phase. From what I've read it sounds like a thermal sensor problem. Have you found a manual to do the repair?

Here is what I ended up doing. I took the top off and found the trouble shooting sheet folded up in a plastic bag. I ran the diagnostic by pressing the MOre time, less time, more time, less time. (Less then five seconds) and it came up with an "OE" code on the time display. I looked on the sheet and it said the door switch was bad. I replaced the switch and sure enough it works just fine now. Try looking for the tech sheet inside the housing and it should help you find out what to do.

Hope this helps

Thanks, found the tech sheet. will try it tonight. I've found on another blog the control panel was the culprit. I pulled out the control panel and did find a solder connection that was bad. I will try to fix it when I get to work tomorrow. Scroll to the end of the blog. Kenmore Elite Dryer will not start up [Archive] - Appliance Blog Forums

BTW, how much was the door switch and how long did it take you to replace. I may want to just pick one up before the weekend just incase that was the problem.

Thanks for your help.

The control panel was the culprit. All I had to do was touch up a solder connection, now everything works well. Thanks to all that helped.
