Hi,
I have a GE Spacesaver 27in drop-in electric range. The glass on the oven door broke. I ordered the parts and would like some advice on how it should be replaced. If you look at the detail diagram of the oven door, the pieces that I am replacing are items 121 (Glass ovn dr) and 122 (Glass ovn dr inner).

Looking at the diagram, I cannot tell if I can install these items from the front of the door, or if I have to dissasemble the entire door to install these pieces.
Do you have any information regarding the procedure for replacing these parts?

Any help you can give me is appreciated.
I can be reached at 623 341 1193, or campster1@cox.net

Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,

You have to remove the door from the range.

Put it on a flat surface with the front of the door facing down.

Remove the screws held the inner door panel, remove the inner door panel and you will get access to the inner door glass.

Good luck.
Gene.
