Hi my names Carl, I have a Maytag Epic z Model # Mhwz400tq01 - purchased 2008. . It turns on and I can select the cycle of any kind but it doesnt start washing It makes a humming noise probly the water pump. I put it on spin and it wont do anything. . After 5 minuites or so it starts flashing a code. At first the code was F21 witch I had a problem with before. I checked the drain but im just assuming that code never cleared when I fixed it before. and now its F01 code bad CCU board. I ran the diagnostic test like in the manual and it was F01 error. I went the cheap rout and bought a refurbushed CCU and replaced it , it did the same thing. I got a second board and yet again it didnt work. The company I got then from was a very respectable sourse. I dont no what to do now. Please help me.

I would order a new board from this site (No I am not associated with APP, just a volunteer). If it does not fix the problem you can return it. This way you know you are getting a good part.

Rebuilding boards is both an art and a skill, very hard to do. This does not mean the vendor is at fault, they may be just trying to save you money.
