Ice maker will not draw water but water in door works normally
Whirlpool Model ED25QFXHT02
Number on ice maker 106 626636

Can manually fill ice maker with water and it will freeze and eject normally.

Switched wires at inlet valve and water will fill ice maker by pressing door water dispenser, so fill tube is not frozen and valve works to pump water to either ice maker or door dispenser, switched back and door water dispenser works normally again.

Changed complete ice maker unit with same 106 626636 model from Kenmore refrigerator but still will not draw water, both units will freeze and eject ice normally after manual water fill. The older ice maker from the Kenmore refrigerator was working normally and new only a couple months before water supply was disconnected from that refrigerator.

Tested inline fuse in wiring connection which was good, but I knew that since both units will eject ice normally after manual fill.

What am I missing? I don't think it is the ice maker because both work normally after water is delivered. I don't think it is the valve or a frozen tube because I can switch the wires and pump water to the ice maker by the door water dispenser switch. Is there another part I have overlooked?
