Replacement burner has only two connectors while the original has four. No other option available as per Appliance Pros. What do I do with the two (smaller} wires and connectors.

HI.
What is the part number of the burner you received? Witch one do you have to replace and why?
Thank you.
Simon.

Thanks Simon. My first time on here so not sure how all this works. Part number received is WPL 8523697. Old one burned out a while back. Have it installed and appears it works. Other connection are for the 'ON' light as per diagram on bottom and I had to tape them up with a wire knot for the hot lead. Was told there is no other replacement part listed.

The picture looks like my old one that burned out. The part number on the box is the correct one. Howevr, the replacement one I received and we are discussing only has two connections.
So now what. As I was told that the one with two connections was the correct one and the only one availabe, I installed it as mention.
So now what? If the wrong one was in the box and the one with four connections is the correct one and available what happens now?
