I found a technical manual on this site for my washer, I went through all the diagnostics everything checked out except the resistance on the motor leads the tech manual said that it is suppose to read 16 ohms I got a reading of 31.9 ohms equally on p5-1 and p5-2 / p5-1 and p5-3, I got the same readings checking on the motor itself, is this enough difference to say that the motor is bad?

When the resistance is out of range there is a series of additional steps listed.
Did you take them and what were the results?

I believe your measurement is good Each winding is 16 ohms so when using p5-1 to pins 2 or 3 you are actually measuring 2 windings in series for a total of 32 ohms. |
