My icemaker works just fine, but it does not dispense any ice out when I press the button for crushed or cube ice...nothing comes out. There is ice in the bucket, but it does not come out when I press the button. What is the problem? Please help.

Hi.

When you push the lever does the ice door open? Do you hear any humming noise from the auger motor in the freezer?

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

Hi.

Check if the auger motor turns by hand, it may be frozen. Just defrost it.
If the problem still exists use a multimeter to check the run capacitor and if it's bad - replace it Part number: 65889-4

What is the best way to defrost the part? I took a warm cloth and put it on the part and the ice shot a few cubes out when I touch the cube lever. But, after about 5 seconds the ice would not dispense again. So tell me what is the best way to defrost this part?

Use the blow dryer or take the motor out for a few hours.
There is also possibilities that you will have to get a new motor.

Thank you.
