My DW starts, fills with water, then the lights stay on for about 30 seconds (nothing is happening) and then they just go out and all is stopped.

I've cut the power, in case there is a microprocessor that needs rebooting, That helped once, but it could have been a coninscidence. Another time I pushed "Heavy" instead of "Normal" and that went all the way through. But not again.

Sometimes it goes all the way, and most of the time it fills and stops. We make sure to run hot water at the tap before we start it because we know it likes hot water.

I've replaced the latch and associated switches because the plastic parts just broke once. It worked just the same after that, sometimes completing but most of the time just filling and stopping.

When it does that, we hit "cancel." It will then come on, drain all the water out of the tub and then shutoff.

When it does complete the whole cycle, everything works fine, as far as we can tell. It's just that most of the time it just fills and stops.

Any ideas?
