Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/12/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I JUST REPLACED MY DRAIN PUMP ON MY MAYTAG QUIET SERIES 300 BUT THE PUMP KEEPS ON RUNNING. THE ONLY WAY i CAN SHUT IT OFF IS LEAVING THE DISHWASHER DOOR OPEN. I BELIEVE I INSTALLED THE UNIT CORRECTLY. I AM NOT SURE WHY THE OLD MOTOR FAILED, BUT I DO RECALL SMELLING BURNT PLASTIC OR INSULATING MATERIAL. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS
