This is a top loading washer and it literally roars during the spin cycle. There are no leaks and it's been like this for while over a month. I'm thinking of repairing this myself but I'm unsure of the problem. A video of the washer during the spin cyle is at:

Noises are very difficult to diagnose without being there, but it sounds like a tub bearing issue.

Here is an exploded view of your machine.

Thanks for the reply. Is it a difficult job to replace the bearing and in addition to the bearing are there other parts, i.e. seals, gaskets, etc., that would also need to be replaced.

GE is very close with their tech info but I think you can download a repair manual from this site here.

Go ahead and replace the parts you see in the diagram related to the tub and bearing.

I have bought a washing machine 3 months ago and till it becomes noisy and also vibrate. Recently m not working it. I also checked it and repaired but again having same problem.
