HI, Jst wondering if you have any experience with a Whirlpool dryer model# EED4400SQ0. I can see the element getting red. but not much heat is coming out. Wondering if it could be the element or the hi-limit thermo or the dryer thermal cut-off. I have the unit out and don't know if it can be tested somewhere before I buy parts.

Hi.

First of all make sure that there is no blockage in the air vents inside and outside the dryer.Remove and clean the chute.
Run the dryer with the rear vent disconnected and see if that makes any difference...

Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.c...el.aspx?model_id=5149712

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.
