My fridge started to warm up to 42 over a 24 hour period when the "vacuum condensor" light came on. I did this (vacuumed it), reset the machine and it felt like cooler air was now blowing in the fridge. When I woke up the next morning, temp was still holding at 42*. I didn't remove the fan on the opposite side to clean it too, but it didn't look very dirty at all.
Are there any other trouble shoots I can take on my own, I hate calling the repair man ($$$).

Hi.

I'm afraid you need to call a repair man on this one.
If you cleaned the condenser coils good and it's still tells you "vacuum condenser" - possibly low freon charge.

Thank you.

Simon.
