The clock has malfunctioned on my Tappan double oven. The model # is missing and I don't have a manual (oven installed by previous owner). The repairman just came up with a part number for the clock itself P/N 148G009P02, but GOOGLING with that finds nothing.
I just paid for a service call where he says he can't help me.
Any help here on being able to identify my Tappan model so I can get a part?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I cannot help. Perhaps with luck someone else will have a location on the unit that will let you find out the model number.
I do not think that the given part number is the correct number. Most Tappan/Frigidaire part numbers are just numbers and do not include letters.
Often a board will have multiple numbers on it. One may be the part number for the complete board but it may also have manufacturing sub-part numbers re: the number for the board before any parts are added onto it etc.
All I can suggest is that you pull the unit and check for other numbers on the control board or if it has a separate keypad or an overlay check it. Most other parts will not let you find out the model number as they are probably used in a number of different units. |
