Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/28/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		Hi, Our 8 year old Whirlpool Gold dishwasher #GU1200XTLS1 stopped running and no lights. I left the house so I don't know what cycle it was in if that matters. There is water in the bottom of the tub. Other links said it could be the thermal fuse. Before I bought one, I disconnected the wires from the fuse, plugged the dishwasher back in, still nothing. Then I connected the two wires together, still nothing. What do you think? Thanks, Joe

If connected with wire nuts check that they are OK. Check the door switches.
