Today front seal came off When I take dryer apart is there any parts beside the front seal you recommend I replace while apart? When the gasket was in place what would have caused scraping sound when drum spins?

There are two of them and they should be replaced together with the felt pads. Also it might be time for a new belt. Check and lubricate all rollers and idler pulley.
