I have a Whirlpool Microwave model# GH7208XRY1

This is over the range microwave with everything working on it except the internal fan does not run. The vent fans work fine. I opened the microwave
and tested the fan by disconnecting it from microwave and directly supplying 110V to it. The fan works fine independently.

Can someone tell me what could be wrong here?

Most likely the problem is a bad relay board (#12 at the diagram).

- The relay board Part number: 8206603

Gene,

As pointed by you #12 in the diagram refers to control board. You mentioned relay board is that same?

Thanks

rhar,

Unfortunately Whirlpool is very inaccurate when it comes to name of parts. It is very often when you can see the same part called different names at the wiring diagram and parts list.

Yes, this is the correct part.
