Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/20/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		My Maytag MDB9150AWB dishwasher started making strange noises, some of which sounded like an electrical short circuit popping. The automatic self-diagnostic tells me that the thermistor has an open circuit. I replaced the thermistor but nothing changes - still get the open circuit message. What next? Does this mean the control board is bad? I'm not sure it makes sense to replace a control board in an older DW. Thanks for your help:)
