My bottom freezer refrigerator stopped working. First the freezer contents all defrosted and it stopped freezing. The next day the refrigerator stopped being cold. The fan is blowing. I opened the back and the compressor is pretty hot - is that normal?

Is the compressor vibrating and the condenser coils getting warm?

No, the compressor is not vibrating. It was very hot, only the fan was running. I pulled out the plug overnight, then plugged it in this morning.
The compressor was cold, but didn't make any noise or vibrate. Only the fan was running. I'm guessing the compressor has stopped working - do you agree?
