You should go ahead and complain to Maytag, just don't expect much. These models are very difficult to diagnose and very prone to electrical/board problems. Good luck

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/17/2012(UTC) Posts: 20		well, i finally broke down and purchased the MCU for this maytag 3000 washer that's been giving me f11 codes like it is it's jobbbbbbb. I ordered from this site (GREAT PRICE by the way !! ) I'm going to try to tackle it this weekend if it comes in. Anyway, I was wondering the best way to go about replacing this.... some say from the front, some say take apart the back to access and replace the MCU ? I've looked online for any videos or things like but haven't been successful. My dryer (maytag 3000 series) recently the motor went kurplunk! i found a cool video on youtube, and replacing it was great, and it is working fine now. Any advice would be appreciated :) Thanks so much Aaron
