This is a Whirlpool Duet with the Maytag name on it. You should go ahead and complain to Maytag, just don't expect much. These models are very difficult to diagnose and very prone to electrical/board problems.
Good luck

i know what you mean on "trying to contact them" i've tried several times... and it's all automated, and i get frustrated before i even get a person... (which i have yet to do... since everytime i call , they say call back during normal business hours LOL) i'll try it for giggles and see... this site has best price! plus i like the fact that you said you can return it if it doesn't fix the problem ... -aaron :) Originally Posted by: sidfink43 This is a Whirlpool Duet with the Maytag name on it. well, i finally broke down and purchased the MCU for this maytag 3000 washer that's been giving me f11 codes like it is it's jobbbbbbb. I ordered from this site (GREAT PRICE by the way !! ) I'm going to try to tackle it this weekend if it comes in. Anyway, I was wondering the best way to go about replacing this.... some say from the front, some say take apart the back to access and replace the MCU ?
I've looked online for any videos or things like but haven't been successful. My dryer (maytag 3000 series) recently the motor went kurplunk! i found a cool video on youtube, and replacing it was great, and it is working fine now.
Any advice would be appreciated :) Thanks so much Aaron
